Kent Real Estate
Located 19 miles south of Seattle, Kent is the 6th largest city in the state of Washington and has a population of nearly 130,000. Kent has historically been home to a large steel industry dating back to the 20th century. Companies including Salmon Bay Steel, Puget Sound Steel, Pacific Metal and TMX Aerospace were all prominent manufacturers in the area.
Today, the economy is fueled by other corporations in different markets. These include REI, Seattle Bicycle Supply, Oberto Sausage Company Amazon and of course Boeing. Regional distribution centers for both GE and Whirlpool are also located in Kent.
